Autumn Colours

Autumn is taking hold and colours are changing, so I thought I would post a few of the images I have made over the last few weeks from visiting several local woods.

Walking in autumn woodland is one of my favourite ways of spending time outdoors, probably second only to photographing the deer rut. Which reminds me, I must write another post with some more of those recent images as well!

I am lucky enough to have several local woods that I can visit, and I tend to frequent some more than others. While reviewing some of these images and checking previous photos in Lightroom, I was surprised to see it’s been two years since I last walked in one of those woods! I must make sure not to leave it so long again.

I now have a Facebook page that I update with a few images after any significant outing, as I find it a great way to share images with people who belong to groups local to where I live. You can find it by clicking here:

All images were made with the Fujifilm X-T1, the XF 35mm f/1.4 and the excellent XF 50-140mm f/2.8 lens with a 1.4x teleconverter.
